i would suggest to stay away from es file explorer the original version or even with this mod as it still sending & receiving information to baidu, and it still receiving ads information including sending your personal nformation to the ads publisher (tapas.net appsflyer.com duapps.com, facebook, etc)

Do you have the full list of the dns query? Probably you can list it here, so the modder can remove those dns from the apk. The pro version seems to be abandoned already. So sometimes i almost wanna try the original version to check for new features.

If u have root, u can use wi.cap to shark the connection. Ofc, it will very difficult to analyze it at phone. The other way is to use a PC/laptop and set is a virtual wifi, connect ur phone to it, sharing the internet from LAN (or another wifi). Thus ur PC now is a default gateway. Install wireshark and filter all traffic from ur phone.

It takes a while to gather all the necessary data, and u need to install the app also; which i would prefer not to.

Another easier way is to upload the apk to virustotal, let it scan for url string. But it won't find the encoded/encrypted url string. Only active monitoring (above) can find all the dns.
