I tried that app, Adguard, but it functions like a VPN. And I already use a private VPN service. So, Adguard conflicted with my VPN service, and I had to uninstall it.

The ads keep getting larger and more annoying. Would be great to have a Mod version of GasBuddy 5.1.x

To use Adguard with a VPN, you have to be rooted, and use HTTP Proxy mode.

I'm not prepared to root my phone just yet. Still getting updates, etc.

But I would really like to see a modded version of GasBuddy, without needing Adguard or rooting, etc.

Any chance of someone modding this?

Besides the ads using up data, being very large and annoying, I cannot get the app to shut down. Everytime I check it with SD Maid, it shows it active, when it hasnt been used in days. After 'killing' the app with SD Maid, I check later and find it has activated again, on its own.

Or, can someone recommend a less obtrusive app?
