The WM6 version was a freeware program. Maybe this one too. No more info link has been added to the opening post.

Has been already specified that this release is only for WM5 device.

Can anyone confirm that this driver can support SDHC card capacity greater than 4 GB, such as 8 GB on WM5? Some drivers floating around works only to 4GB...

Edit: Well as I suspected, this was the HTC X500 micro SD driver floating around a few months ago as I looked inside the cab and it would not support anything greater that 4 GB. It may looks ok but can not fill above 4 GB.

I have received a PM from the poster. He said that he is the cracker of this "old" application. But I havent found on the web the link to the original developer site of WEB page. Can someone help me finding this link ?? Thanks in advance.

This cab is adding exactly the same dll files to Windows dir: sdbus and sdmemory; are the same files as in the other SDHC post.
And, BTW, what "crack" he apply to this cab?
EDIT: The patch is working on WM5 AND WM6, but with the right hardware; isn't for All devices.

This is the same driver appeared in another forum back in Sept. If you look inside the cab, all files and the installation xml are identical and the funny part is that this is intended for WM6 but works for some WM5 and as the other poster said, with the right hardware (mainly HTC since it was released by them) ... http://www.pda4x.com/read.php?tid=48437&fpage=0&toread=&page=1

So, what can be the conclusion now ?? We still have to reward and categorize this release.
From what I can understand, we have to consider this a Freeware distribution (not a crack) and "System Utilities" the category.
Am I right ??
