iContact 0.71 - Now with more ABC (Freeware)
Requirements: Pocket PC WM5
Overview: iContact is a simple contacts applications for your Windows Mobile device which will help you scroll your contact list in iPhone style by sliding down your finger in the screen! It's really amazing and if you get used to it iContact could be one of your everyday apps.

* Added call log
* Added quick scroll-to support
* Tied favorites to built-in categories
* Added .cab installer for easy uninstall
* Fixed icon to a proper transparent one

May 31, 2008: New version! 0.71

As you may have seen on my website, 0.71 is ready for download, with the following updates:

* Added new and improved ABC keyboard
* Improved physical keyboard support
* Added option for exit on close
* Added option for exit on action
* Improved functionality of virtual scroll bar
* Added AppToDate support

A .CAB file a day, for mobile users on the way, keeps installation problems away...

< .CAB file link(s) > added to opening post. (Unless specified all .CAB files are Rapidshare links)

Why should one install a CAB-file?

- direct download/install to the device, without polluting desktop PC by useless installed files
- CAB files are trusted. no viruses, no trojans
- Look HERE to find out how to install a .CAB file

Release Tester's Review

Tested/Working on: WM5, WM6
Not tested on: PPC 2002, 2003+SE
Rating: Originality: 10/10 - Quality: 10/10 - Performance vs similar products: 10/10 -- Average: 10/10
Comment: At such a small size and it's combination of an amazing GUI and scrolling flawlessness, iContact has just changed the way I call people. Before, it was opening the contacts up and using touchflo to navigate (which didn't work that well at times) and not to mention the accidently taps that always happened. What's great about this little app is that it takes control over and becomes the default contact application. You can probably make one slide and be at the end of your contacts list (it actually depends how long your contact list, for some it'll be two and others maybe three). The first screen that pops up is all your contacts which are usefully organized alphabetically. The tab to the right gives you the dial launcher and the one by that launches out a full screen (abc,not qwerty) keyboard for easy navigation in finding contacts. To the left of the middle tab is your call hisory and by that is a favorites tab. On the top bar, it still shows you your signal strength, time, bluetooth connectivity, and your battery power which is very handy. I feel that i've missed out on a lot in overlooking this program and not trying it until a few weeks ago. It's a great (if not the best) contact replacement to the old boring Windows Mobile one (and yes, I did give it a perfect score).
Also look at: on this site:
- PocketCM Contact v0.24
- Sunnysoft Contacts v1.3

Please respect the developer(s) of this software. If you download and use it, then buy or support it.

Just installed this because I hated having to use the stylus to jump to contacts lower in the alphabet since fingers were too big on my Mogul to tap the individual letters. All I can say is I love it. Very clean and slick app. Thanks for the share!
