ok, i managed to enable f1-f11 keys, it works perfectly with win95 and win98 (it is really easy to enable it), tomorow will test MacOS. Of cource, it would be nice to give more than 12MB of RAM , but it works either way, thanks for great app, could you please make an *.img file from winXP, or at least tell me what program I could use for that? Thanks in advance

Great port thx!

You should also try porting Qemu

i have tested qemu on the HD2 with windows 95 and works surprisingly good,no memory limit.

played some games, Starcraft being one of them and its quite playable, even the intro and cd sound works (though lags a bit) Its by no means as fast as the pocketstarcraft port, but this is the real thing, all units and bloodwar expansion on it so its quite a nice

Also played with Theme Hospital and Civilization 2 both speedwise were fine, only the clunky implementation of the keyboard and mouse in qemu were making them pain

Windows itself works pretty fast once the vga drivers and all components are properly installed, there is one issue with the mouse icon, and few other glitches, but still nice and usable.

Im having lots of fun just installing stuff.

I see that the bochs win95 img is setup with only 16 colours vga adapter, i will reinstall windows 95 and see if i can get 16 bit drivers as in qemu working adn them compare to see which one works better

mm i noticed we are missing a vgabios-cirrus-latest ,its not in the install folder, it should come with bochs.

without this, unless there is a way to make Vga with vbe extensions adaptor to work in windows , we are stuck in 16 colours and sloooooow graphics :(

in Qemu the cirrus drivers work like a charm,so all the games run pretty fast

where can i get this file for windows mobile?

Hello, this is my first post. I have a question, why we have to use an Bochs emulator when we can use QEMU and we will have a fully functionally NT based system (like ReactOS)? QEMU is very fast, Windows 95 is loading on my Kaiser over 2 minutes. If someone would like to test ReactOS on VGA device and write about it I'll be very happy

I could try that, I finally found a working QEMU version on polish forum, works nicely with win98, win95 and emulates heroes2 perfectly. That ReactOS really interests me, but I need .img file to load it

ReactOS is in vmdk file on official site http://www.reactos.com/en/download.html
It is quite good but I need VGA display to test this OS...
btw, does anybody have a 2GB img or vmdk file?? I need to paste into image dos or doslike OS and run fallout 1 form QEMU

well, ok... I tried that ReactOS. I does work BUT unuseable, because it is extremely slow. I also looked into that new win95, I think it's buggy because it hangs before windows boot screen appears

Oh, I tried to change it to 30, but nothing better, CPU is the weak spot, I think
