Android For Blackstone (HTC TouchHD) Update! (Freeware)
Requirements: WM5, WM6, WM6.5
Overview: Allows the Android operating system to be run on your Touch HD. Windows OS is killed and booted into Linux/Android running from your SD Card

Image

Features:
* Run Android directly from your SD Card.
* Does not damage your WinMo installation
* This is NOT a ROM, but it does kill the WinMo Kernel before booting into Android
* I've updated the release and made into a cab for easy installation, and shortcut installation... works out of the box :-)

Known issues: Camera and GPS don't work, and sometimes the device can fail to wake up from deep sleep. This is being worked on... but for the moment, you have to live with it.

More Info:
Code: Select allhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=621498

Download Instructions:
Download and install the cab!
This cab DEMANDS that your SD card is named "storage card". Failure to do so will result in failure.
Remember it's HD / Blackstone only.

Nope. Sorry. Maybe one day in the future, but it's very unlikely.
One of the advantages of buying HTC is that there are so many users to make it worthwhile... so few bought the Acer :-/

Never say never, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
