In my scripts folder there's no listing of meta-o2-pre-2.1.0

Then you probably have an old version of meta-doctor. Just make a new git clone.

There is an important difference in the meta-o2-scripts: For O2, there's no 1.4.5 masquerading required. With masquerading there are no webOS 2 apps available, even if they should show up for O2 devices (at least for O2/Vodafone Germany, where the doctor was designed for).
So for O2 UK you should use meta-o2-pre-2.1.0 for the Pre Minus, and for the Pre Plus meta-o2-preplus-2.1.0.

For Pre Minus O2 Germany I think you don't have to use any of this scripts, just enable the REMOVE_MODEL_CHECK option in the makefile and run "make" in the meta-doctor folder.

Alright, I'll work on that today.
You'd think just by doing a "git pull" command it would update the latest scripts.

Yes, but this only works if you didn't modified any files (for example the makefile).

You can download UberKernel and Govnah from Preware and overclock.

Because the meta-doctor script modified the doctor to act as if it was 1.4.5, otherwise there would be problems with the Palm Profile and accessing the App Catalog. In real it is 2.1.0.
Do you see the Just Type bar? Then it's definitely webOS 2... :)

Your phone is still recognized as webOS 1.4.5.
There used to be a way to change it to recognize webOS 2.1 but I can't remember and it seems they don't have it on wiki page anymore.
But any other stuff you should go here.
There's a way to add Adobe FLash, which IMO is a good read. ;)

The Device Info is supposed to read 2.1.0...I think the Wiki took it down because the new doctors should make it read 2.1.0 automatically. So maybe you used an old version to make the doctor?

That's gotta be it then. I'll try doing the whole meta-doctor thing over again.

I went ahead and made webOS 2.1 doctors using the meta-doctor for every device available, and I'm making them possible to just download them to make it a bit easier for those not comfortable making them on your own.

I'm pretty sure all of them are default with no extras in the makefile. I'd rather not go through making special ones for certain people but if you NEED it to be able to run it on your phone (ex no network, need to bypass activation) then I will make you one. So just let me know.

Also if you have problems with the doctor (phone keeps disconnecting, or won't recognize on computer), then turn off your phone hold the volume up button while holding the power button and it should popup with a USB logo. It should recognize it then.

Then it's probably the problem that Preware thinks your device was on 1.4.5.
One solution would be to wait until DisturbedOne adds a new WR-doctor (WR=world ready, includes Movistar) to this thread.
Or change the feed URLs in Preware to 2.1.0.
