From a TM source, it looks that NavNGo will launch somewhere at the end of this year, a new pack for East EU, even TM have improved some maps!! :evil:

I submitted a report about a bug in the Romanian map to TopMap and finally got a reply:

I processed this error. The next (2009.09) release will contain it, it will be available in the beginning of the next year somewhere. It depends on the Nav n Go ltd.

To all users:

1. Stop requesting for maps, if there are new maps out people will post them if they get their hands on it. If some maps are not posted i suggest to you guys to go to the request section. If i see people posting requests again i will ban them for 7 days. If someone post a request again after his 7 days ban i will (or another mod/admin) ban him for life.

2. Stop asking what maps are better or not, download them and check it your self which map is better for you or not.

I'm going to be visiting France, UK, Czech Republic. Can someone please recommend when set of maps I should use, these ones, or the maps found in this thread:

France = map of France
TA=TeleAtlas Releaser
2009.02= from February 2009
090602= launched on June 2nd, 2009

With these explanations you could take yourself a conclusion.

Thank you for your input. However, newer is not always better and certain maps for certain providers can differ great;y. That's why I seek info from people who use these maps daily.

For Czech republic definitely TeleAtlas maps, not sure about UK and France

I am trying to download using the link from the first post, but, jdownloader gives me an error, "This file is larger than 200MB, you need a Premium Account to download this file." on some of the files (those are, indeed, larger than 200MB) ? Any tricks to get those downloaded anyway, without getting a premium account ?
