PGPS: The TomTom App has been in the top 10 in the Apple AppStore since it's release do you have plans to launch on other platforms, in particular Android and Windows Phone?

TT: We are currently working on a version for Android this will be released soon. I cannot give you a specific date yet. For Windows Phone we are not planning to release anything.

I wish they'd hurry up and release it...

Unfortunately this has been their line since 2009, TomTom have no intentions of releasing on android. They believe PNAs will carry them. Actually it will bury them.

Apparently the HTC Incredible comes bundled with TomTom. It has user downloadable maps and is on a 3mnth, 1yr, lifetime subscription offering (seen in the QANTAS magazine)

That's incorrect it's Route 66 not TT. Its on other HTC android phones also as a trial as Premium Navigation. Its not meant to be any good though from what i heard.

Side loading the APK apparently works on devices with 1280x720, e.g. Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S3, etc.

I have the European Version running on my Galaxy nexus. I am able to load friends addresses in Germany and all seems to look good. All that is needed is the US/CANADA crack Wish I had this in june then I could tell you all how well it works. Or not :)

Good to know that it actually works when loaded on its own. Is it distorted, too small, or look weird?

I'm also looking forward to the USA version. I'd say that all of the foreign versions are coming out first since the crackers are probably mostly from non-USA countries. We'll eventually get ours.

The Euro and USA/Canada posts have been removed from some reason, or at least no longer show up for me, was there a reason for this?

n/m, I found it was moved out of Android to the GPS section.

TomTom Europe on SIII, working perfectly.
Did you know where I can add my PI (in TomTom for Win6, I've add the PI in the Western Europe directory and it works, should I do the same for android?)
