3.6.0 instructions:

1. Download your APK file (USA or EU)
2. install it
3. Run it, done.

For android 1.5 up till 2.1 (>2.1 for some)

[*]Download and unpack required files with winrar
[*]Uninstall everything on your phone that says "Navigon"
[*]Install navigon 2.6.1
[*]run it, until it asks for maps, quit navigon
[*]Mount your SD card to your PC and install navigon
[*]Creat a new account in Navigon(IMPORTANT!)
[*]Download any map(small is better, speeds up the process)
[*]After downloading and installing, remove the SD card savely and go back to your phone
[*]Run navigon 2.6.1 and go to the menu, then exit
[*]mount he SD card again and find the folder called, "navigon" delete everthing in this folder EXCEPT the version(.xml) file
[*]open this file, version(.xml), with notepad and edit it. Make it from this:

[*]Save the file and close notepad
[*]Go back to the phone and insert the SD card, now install version 3.5.0 NOTE: DON'T RUN IT AFTER THE INSTALLATION!
[*]Now exit everthing on your phone and mount the SD card again on your PC. Now make a new account in navigon fresh(IMPORTANT!) and download the maps and stuff what you want.
[*]Unmount your SD card from your PC, insert it back in to phone, run navigon 3.5.0. now we are almost done.
[*]Uninstall version 2.6.1
[*]Go to the market place and find the navigon update 3.6.0, install it and have fun!!!

Update:
3.6.0 is working great as long as you use your phone (don't get out the SD card!) what I did:
MAKE A BACKUP FIRST! Mount your phone trough a USB cable go the /Navigon/ delete all execpt updates.xml and version.xml now run Navigon fresh, let it update (choice the countries you want) and let it finish, safely remove the phone, start navigon select and your are on 3.6.0!

Installation instructions:
1)Install "Navigon.2.6.1.NewCrack.apk". If you already have a cracked Navigon 2.6.1 running, go to step 3)
2)Run it, agree to the download, and let it start, when it reaches 1% cancel it.
3)Uninstall Navigon 2.6.1. If it was fully installed before, also delete the map, data and sound folders.
4)You will be left with a Navigon/ folder in your sdcard, which only contains a file called version.xml
5)Change the version.xml located in your sdcard from:

To edit it you can use e.g. Astro file manager, or connect the phone to your pc and do it with notepad.

6)Save the file and exit.
7)Install Navigon 3.5. Do not launch it after installation.
Download and install the official Navigon Fresh application:

9)Connect your phone to your PC in mass storage mode and mount it.
10)Run Navigon Fresh, register a new account, and when it finds the device, register it as a new device.
11)Download all the maps you want
12)Safely disconnect the phone using the menu option in Navigon Fresh.

Nope, it doesn't. Still FCs.

I don't know what I did wrong, but I got always the following message, when I start after all other steps the 3.5.0 version:

NAVIGON select is intended only for customers of participating mobile network operators and device manufactures. This software can not be started on your device. However, you can purchase the software 'Navigon MobileNavigator' in Android Market.

I have a HTC Desire and network operator is a small belgium one. But I think this message means: No pirate copy!

Any clues? Any help? Any solution?

PS. Cracked version 2.6.1 work perfectly?!

EDIT: Okay, I remove all data for Navigon Select and remove on file from the Navigon directory and now it works

What I hate on Navigon is bad menu and few settings....

how to choose audio, how to choose menu etc....

What about US maps. Has anyone gotten it working...?

if you have 3.5.0 on your device, just uninstall the 3.5.0 and download 3.5.3 from the market, install it.

For starters, you can't just download 3.5.3, atleast not in the US. It is not free. It's currently just shy of 60 USD. The new 3.5.3 checks with google's servers to make sure you've paid. That's why I posted a paid-for copy of Navigon 3.5.3 *US* version.

For the US maps, I haven't gotten it working in the past, but I read somewhere that 2.5.1 (as opposed to 2.6.1) works with the US maps. Gonna be trying it shortly and will report back.....

works for me with the european version, i already had 3.5.2 installed and just downloaded 3.5.3 from the market

It works fine for Europe for me - How do you add other maps though? Manually copying e.g. Turkey.map into the maps folder doesn't seem to do the trick? I'm sorry if this is a simple question, but I couldn't find an answer.
