What would i need to use on my kenwood dnx-7240bt

you need mapsource app to transfer country maps you want to device....
http://www8.garmin.com/software/MapSource_6163.exe
use WinRAR to decompress MapSource_6163.exe and run MSmain.msi file to install MapSource...

and you can delete old map file gmapprom.img to release space on device if needed...

use POI Loader

iffile already *.gpi, speedcams go to \Garmin\POI\ folder...

I just got one last thing to ask, it says on the kenwood it has "city navigator europe NT 2009" Is it up to kenwood to update or can i just update it anyway? with the files from this site? (thats if there is an update)

maybe give message for update because map is old on device... just delete this old map and update with this latest...

if asking for system update, you can update without problem...
