Gameplay
The object of checkers is simple, capture all of your opponents pieces by jumping them, or block them so that they cannot be moved. Your checkers pieces may only move away from you, to a connected diagonal square that is unoccupied. If an opponents checkers piece occupies a diagonally connected square, you may capture your opponents checkers piece by jumping to the next diagonal space in the same direction if unoccupied. If you can move one of your checkers pieces to the other end of the board, it will become a king, and can move forward and reverse.
