I have hp 310 and really need to use some EU maps.
Did you find a way to get around 31x's license?
If it would help I will give you details about my device (numbers, IDs, etc)
Ipaq 310 is really great device and with iGo 8 it is just priceless!!!!
But I have to be able to use EU on it and I swear - I really tried to buy some EU maps from HP,
but since they don't offer such a thing, I would gladly (help) hack/crack it so to become even more useful

 

Go to http://www.ipaqchoice.co.uk to buy EU maps.

Try changing the dlls and the loquendo files to the ones that work on the HP nav.

By process of elimination, you should get it to work.

PLease, please, please, Mexxme, In your next update, can you make the "Navigation" open in a new window where we can put different Navigation programs.

Genuine one, Igo8, tomtom or else

by the way, Finean V4 is working very well and can take the resolution. A bit slow but it is the best I found with navtec 2008 map for NA. I just doubled the scale of some icons for visuability and it is perfect for me. If anybody can help with the speed now, that would be perfect.
