Hi there!

Just joined this forum only to say thanks for this upload of PN9 Truck. I use this posting, because there seems no "thanks-button" around here...

I have a few navigation-devices stuffed with the version from here and wanted to share my sucesses:

PN9T on PDA Fujitsu Siemens Pocket Loox 610 with WM2003, TomTom BT GPS-Reciever MKII - Works just great
PN9T on PNA BlueMedia BM6300 with WinCE 4.2, integrated GPS - Works also great
PN9T on PNA Targa M4320T with WinCE 5.0, integrated GPS, TMC - Works good, TMC not tested (tmc-antenna is missing)
PCN9T on CPC Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook E7110 BaseUnit with 8"-Touchscreen, TomTom BT GPS-Reciever MKII - Works perfect (download not from here)

It's really great that this version works on pda AND pna as well. I thought, that there are bigger differencies between WM2003 and WinCE...

Again thx for this great upload - keep the flame burning !

Hey Guys!

Here's a little hint to get it almost perfect:

Get that DVD of "PC Navigator 9", it includes also the pocket navigator.
With my License it wasn't possible to choose the entry for PN9 on main menu,
but here's an easteregg for you:

• Get a ripped version from that dvd on your harddisk.
• Get that pn cab from here.
• Overwrite that cab from dvd with that one you loaded here. (It's already licensed, so it will work without any "problems")
• Burn a new dvd and run it.
• If you still can't choose the PN-entry, then choose Updates.
• Here simply tell the dvd you want to update a pda.
• Tell the correct path, and click "back"
• Now you're in the correct menu to install Pocket Navigator 9 and/or the other stuff on your mobile device.
• Always go through the pda update session to reach the official "Pocket Navigator"-menu, when you (just like me) only have the license for PC Navigator...
If you have already the license for both parts, you can directly access the menu and won't need to overwrite that cab.

In some cases it might be, that the cab is not copied to your device properly (the menu says it's copying the file, but afterwards the target is empty). Than you could try it again, but it's easier and faster to choose the entry wich says memorycard, or simply copy the cab to memorycard/device by hand. In both cases you have to install Pocket Navigator manually (simply doubleclick the cab on your device, tell a target to install and wait. If an error occours, you'll have to get that cab on the memorycard/device again and start the installation-progress all over)

Device: Chinese YF International Ltd Generic GPS/Media Player WinCE6.0
Working a treat on my generic Chinese Wince 6.0 device.
It's a bit basic and crude with its graphics, but it does the job.
Cheers. :D

EDIT:
It's running a bit too slowly now, too slowly for sensible navigation. Why do some programs do this?
You load them ... they work quickly and then the next time you come to use them, they run too slowly. Yet programs like IGO run fast all the time regardless of use.
