use lockers like dropbox or box.com. actually if this ain't too late i'm willing to share free 50gb on box.com. glidesociety.com offers 30gb btw. create an account, set the files u upload to private, and share the password here, so we can download em without having to offend copyright trolls :)

I am still using 4shared which now is a ***** cos apparently if it hits a certain file size limit, the downloader has to make a free account, log in and download. But at least there's a pro about it. No more waiting. And 4shared is quite kind cos my account has been reported with "abuse" for as long as I can remember. -___-

RapidShare has lowered its free download speed to nearly nonexistent, too. A 25mb file takes nearly an hour now.

First, the sites needs to switch to Multiupload. Not only do these remove sites that shut down like MegaUpload but they are constantly avaliable.

Links dont work, are broken or file deleted.

Make the uploaders of this site change to another upload site with more mirrors.

JumboFiles is another one to look at. I think it allows up to 1gb for free user downloads and speed is nice and fast. RapidGator is ok but pretty slow at most times for me.

Mediafire and depositfiles still work for me in the states.

Affiliate programs are what they are going after for the most part. If people would realize that uploading illegal files should not get them compensation then everything will settle down. Most places got rid of affiliate crap already I think, so hopefully things will start to relax.

I've discovered with Mediafire that if you copy the link and paste it into the address bar, it usually works as opposed to the 'error' page you get.
