^^ Follow to the letter. Not working.

 

Working for me after several days and a few reboots.
Used Lucky Patcher to disable license checks but did not change any permissions.

Anything I do, in following any of the directions listed above, leads to it erasing itself and launching the play store... rats!

Must be something to do with the rom or another program I might be running. I have been checking it all day and it is still active.

If I try to change an icon, it tells me that my framework is not compatible. Could that be it??

Damn! Still not working with all the steps and new apk post by norcim. I've no much use of this app because all of it features can be easily replace by TiB, CMW and build-in ROM tweak but unable to crack it pissed me off. mastertech, do you have PDroid installed?

The app uninstalls itself after a while....

v5.0.0 working for a week without problem , only have to disable internet connection when start

I installed v5.0.2 but it keeps uninstalling itself. Anyone else having this problem?

Haha, yeah there's 4 pages of comments because it works perfectly.

But it does work, all you have to do is turn off wifi/internet when you use it. It's a pain but till a working crack comes along it's either that or buy it.

I found a workaround that works for me, maybe it'll work on other phones too. I used Titanium Backup to convert ROM Toolbox to a system app. This prevents it from uninstalling itself, and when it opens the Play market it only presents the 'open' button, it no longer tries to buy itself. To avoid the market opening I simply put my phone into airplane mode while working with RT. The app works fine now. I just have to remember to turn off airplane mode when I am done. And if I forget to turn it on in the first place at least the app no longer deletes itself.

Tested on a Samsung Galaxy GT-I9000M running Cyanogenmod 9 ICS.

I used droidwall and blocked Rom Toolbox from accessing the internet. Seems to working fine except anything that requires internet access such as theme manager, boot animations, etc.

So I tried to use droidwall and moving it to system apps. But it did not work.

I had a thought that he has it setup if romtoolbox or any of his other apps are denied internet access to then route internet access from another one of his apps if it is installed. I did have roottools and app manager on my tablet. Just left over really. Not needed anyway, so I completely removed all traces of anything jrummy or the like, reinstalled romtoolbox 5.0.2 luckypatched it, autotrue. moved it to system apps, blocked it with droidwall and so far no issue whatsoever. Except the fact that any of the functions in the app that need wifi wont work. But I'm calling it a win for me.

Yes I did !!
I had since boot looped my DX and had to SBF to .604 and blah blah blah. Finally got it back to reload my nandroid of rooted stock .621.
Let me re-install PDroid and try it again.....

EDIT: Damn, got to find a rom that has a patch for PDroid. I will advise when I can.. Son has baseball tournament all weekend...
