Yes silly me, forgot whole using Jailbreak stuff lol. Btw how do I install ipa from this site? Connect iPad with iTunes and add it there?

Step 1: Start “Cydia” on your iPad.

Step 2: Touch on “Manage” tab on the bottom.

Step 3: Now touch on “Sources”

Step 4: Touch on “Edit”, and then on “Add”. You should now be prompted to enter a url source as seen in the screenshot below. Type “http://cydia.hackulo.us” and click on“Add Source”.

Cydia will now automatically update your sources by following a series of automated steps.

Step 5: After installation is completed. Search for “AppSync for OS 3.2” in Cydia and install this application. This app will automatically patch mobileinstallation file on your jailbroken iPad running firmware 3.2.

well I followed the instructions and it worked. I tried it out for a while. Then I went into settings and tried to reset the phone. Now it's stuck. The wheel is just spinning in the middle of the screen, and nothing is happening. Not sure why it won't reset. It won't power off or anything. Just spinning like it wants to reset. Any Ideals?

Mine did that, I went into restore mode:

and then had to do recovery mode:

http://ipod.about.com/od/iphonetroubles ... iphone.htm

and finally a factory reset follwoed by restore from backup.......

I am running 5.0.1 on my jailbroken (by redsn0w) 3Gs and want to upgrade software to 5.1.1.
What procedure do have to follow to do this? just upgrade OS from iTunes and then use greenpois0n to jailbreak?

I assume I'll have to re-download and re-install all programs I previously downloaded using Installous as they won't be transferred to PC during the backup process?

Running iPad 2, sw version 5.1.1 and this jailbreak loaded with absolutely no issues. Did an icloud backup, ran the jailbreak, now reloading the backup. All that's great, just now how on earth do I load apps? Silly question for a guy who's been here for over 10 years, but I've never touched my iPad, in regards to apps, before today.
