agreed...but why release the keys so openly so that they lockmaker can change the lock so the key won't fit next time?..1.0.1 already makes any SQLITE editing null and void....you have to do your editing on 1.0..then upgrade to 1.0.1..if you wish.

funny that just HOURS after I posted this..Magic Piano had an update. I C WAT U DID THAR.

I use adb to push/pull the db to the pc... it also worked directly on 1.0.1, no need for 1.0.

just a question, after I download all the songs (thanks to your crack) whenever I exit then reboot my phone, the next time I use Magic Piano, it FC's.

You must correct the permissions of the database to rw-r--r--, with root explorer, and change the Owner of the file to the same one as the other files in that folder.

hey.. i have a motorola razr. I've downloaded the database file and songs and corrected the permissions, but when i try to play a song say "downloading.... > unable to conect to bla bla". What could it be? thanks

I AM MAD! i followed the instructions exactly to the word at least 5 times.....and the app runs but i still have to eather go back when i click a song or get more smula or whatever they are....can someone please post instructions that are a little more specific and that work???

i'm just using this method but when i want to play with another song, i'm must buy it with smoola. so that's it? not free for all song?

I opened magic.db using SQLLite Editor and see about 200 songs in the song listing, but back in the application itself, it just shows the 7 songs that I had previously downloaded. It wants me to use Smoola for all the other songs!!

Any special instructions to make the rest of the songs to show up?

i don't know how clearer the op can make it. download the apk. download the db. go to the file location indicated. you probably will not need the large zip file, the apk will dl the files and put it in the root directory, that's why you need your phone rooted and a root explorer. then copy the song db (it might be XXXX.txt) or something like that. once you copy it to the correct location on the root directory, rename it from xxx.db.txt to xxx.db. for some reason my pc changed it to a txt file. the android file explorer should be able to change it from a txt file to a db file. you then should be ok.

I managed to dl songs for free using the magic.db(.txt when u download it) but after i downloaded the songs, and exit the game, after a day or two, it is asking me to download the songs again!

Same here, what causes this? Is there any way around so we can always keep our database?

First, thanks for the crack. But there is something wrong with my phone (SE Xperia pro). After I copied the magic.db file to the directory, the app doesn't want to start. Appears a message box with "there is a problem with process with .com.smule......" and I can only close that message box. Also I can't copy back the old magic.db. I use File Expert as root explorer. The permissions are Y,Y,N

EDIT: I fixed it. The File Expert doesn't copy properly magic.db. I tried with Root Explorer and it worked.

downloaded the latest version off the store and just overwrote the db file and it worked fine
anyone have the latest db file? they released 11 more songs

lucky patcher cant seem to get rid of the ads
