Hi!
Easy activator (premium 1.8.8.5) don't find these 890 maps
And tomtom (XL xl iq 2) says that these maps are not for this device...

tried Scandinavia 4237 and eastern Europe 4222...

Maybe some suggestions?

P.S. europe 850 and Scandinavia 8.15 working with easy...

Found the problem - there is no meta for these maps...

Will try europe-east 4222 and Scandinavia 4222...

The meta must be showing, for the map to activate.

i have updated many systems and maps but now i have a problem .
i have from a friend a tomtom go wiht in the old beneluxmap no meta file and dct file insite but an benelux .pna and benelux .mms no benelux.meta , i have map benelux 890.4234 for the update
and make a dct file and instal this map but the tomtom see now no maps, what can i do?
i have also take the program fast activate and make dct file.

I would start from scratch. Install navcore and a map that will work with your navcore.
Please note that you need a meta showing to activate map.

Well wen i look whit tomtomhome hy give me to update with map 890.4234 but in the old map there is not a benelux.meta file but an benelux.mms file , never seen that file so this system works whitout a benelux.meta but whit benelux.mms.
the navcore that is instald must work with this map 890.2434 so this is not the good answer because also tomtomhome said map 890.2434
but have you ever seen a mms file in a working map without a meta file?

last week i updated my tomtom 720.
after the update the map (855) isn't working.
downloaded the Europe North 890.4222 with Automatic Installer & Patcher, installed it.
still tomtom give the error "can't use this card europe_north-562

what's wrong? (do i need a meta-file?)

okay clearly, but what is the use of the file if there is no metafile for it?

Some people download the map which takes longer. The meta usually comes out shortly after.

It seems that the file Western Europe 890.4237_Installer.part02 is missing from the set "Western Europe 890.4237 with Automatic Installer & Patcher"

Can you please correct it ??
