Copy this version of Destinator, which is for PNA, to your memory card and start destinator manually. Hopefully will work...

I have a MIO C220, but I can´t get it working!
I´ve tried the MIO Transfer Hacked tool, but it doesn´t seem to work on Vista.
Then I tried the storageCard way, and it worked to replace the MioMap.exe for the cracked one.
Then I put all maps on a SD-card, MioMaps/Maps/ but it just won´t work. Someone who knows what to do??

The maps aren´t locked, but when I enter a adress to navigate the navigator can´t find the map. It says it´s unavailable (in swedish).. Anyone??

I also tried the Data.zip, but it didn´t help.. I´m stuck!

and put the maps in...
Storage Card/MioMap/maps

Mio PNA C220 patching
Requirements: Mio PNA C220 or C250. Probably working with other version too, but not tested
Overview: All tools you need to get full access to you PNA device and make it possible to install a patched Miomap.exe file so you can use all maps posted in this forum.
Image

More Info: http://forum.ppcwarez.org/search.php?keywords=mio&fid%5B%5D=0&sc=1&sr=topics
Most tools I got from different forums, including this one. So nothing new, but I just wanted to get them all toghether as I spended so much time to get it working myself. With the tools you find here, you get the ones I tested and worked for me. You may backup your files before starting, but all the original files are also available on the CD of your GPS PNA. If your device hangs, you should be able to get it back after a hard reset.

Download Instructions:
    Mio storage card patch:
  • Very easy patch, working for many Mio devices
  • Download:
    Code:
    http://uploaded.to/?id=thq1sf
  • All you need to do is unpack the archive and copy all files to the root of you storage card
  • When inserting this storage card while your mio is turned on, a popup will appear asking to install the tool, chose yes to patch your mio. All necessary files will be copied to your device, thus once the patch is installed, you don't really need the special files on your storage card anymore.
  • After restarting (soft reset), a special menu will appear, allowing to get full access to your mio device by using the file explorer.
  • Using the file explorer, you will be able to copy a patched miomap.exe file over your original miomap.exe

    Mio Transfer Hack:
  • The famous tool to get access to all files on your device. This archive includes the original installation files and the patched miotransfer.exe.
  • Download:
    Code:
    http://uploaded.to/?id=o58l5b
  • Installation:
    • unpack 'MioTransferHackedC220.rar'
    • install the original miotransfer by running 'setup.exe' from the folder 'MioTransferOrig'.
    • copy all files from 'MioTransferHackedC220.rar' into the folder where you installed the original version
    • run 'MioTransfer CE5.0 hacked.exe' to get full access to your device. If you are using an other Mio version,
    • you could try the hacked 'Mio Transfer CE4.2.exe' to get access to your device.

    Patched Miomap 3.3
  • This is a patched miomap.exe file. It will allow to use any map that you can find in this forum.
  • Download:
    Code:
    http://uploaded.to/?id=a7wbws
  • Overwrite the original miomap.exe file, found in \My Flash Disk\MioMap\MioMap\
  • To get access to \My Flash Disk\MioMap\MioMap\ you will need the Storage card patch or the MioTransfer Hack.
  • I had to keep the original licence.db file. It worked in combination with the patched miomap.exe and all maps are recognized and usable
  • I used this data.zip (found in folder \My Flash Disk\MioMap\MioMap\). So if you get problems, you could try replacing your data.zip with this one.
    Code:
    http://uploaded.to/?id=q0rdem

    Extra info about Mio
  • Soft reset: push the power on/off button for 5sec. You will get a menu allowing to chose between standby and restart. The restart is a soft reset.
  • Hard reset: push the power on/off button for at least 10 seconds. Your device will be completely turned off and all settings may be removed. To start the device after a hard reset, push the power on/off button for a least 10 seconds again. After a hard reset, you will have to restart the special patch with the storage card since all original mio files will be restored
  • The device for which these tools worked for me was a Mio C220 with Rom v5.4, WinCE 5.0.
  • If you MioMap starts, but with wrong orientation or wrong resoultion, you could try to edit the ini files within the data.zip file or you could try to use my data.zip file:
    Code:
    http://rapidshare.com/files/87325739/DATA.ZIP.html

For me it worked with only the patched Miomap 3.3 (from the link in the first post) and the licence.db file got from somewhere else (the one used for all maps unlocking). It didn't need the data.zip or any other file to be added or replaced.

First I copied also the data.zip file, but it reported an error not finding some file. Then I restored the original data.zip and everything worked perfectly!

All Europe maps (2007.10 and 2008.01) were accepted, no exception.

Don't think I got it so quickly. I experimented about 2 hours with different versions of files, all found on this forum, before I finally got the solution, so please spend your time to dig up everything here then to experiment on the device, before launching the question. See your PM for the links.

with normal data.zip

Hello guys!

This is my first english post,se be patient with me. I've tried to update a c250 to MioMap v3.3 according to the opening post, but without any succes. When I tried to use the patched 3.3 with the original data.zip I had an error, so i tried the other data.zip that you've posted, but once it changed position of the screen, for vertical, and once it sent me a messege about there were maps locked. So I changed it back to MioMap v3.2 that is originaly on it,but I can not update my old maps. Is there any solutions? Thanks for listening, and looking foward to your answers.
