Show your creations to the world.

This topic will allow you to show these community - and why not the rest of the world - your designing qualities, combined with the technical possibilities of our portable devices.

Please use one of the Drawing tools to create a picture, and eventually use one of the screen capture tools released on this forum to save and post your creation here.

I shall - with my service partner andree - evaluate your design, and eventually elect periodically a "most original composition" to be rewarded.

Happy drawing! :D

:!:
- Please mention which drawing tool and which capture software you used.
- Please, do NOT post comments in this topic. Post eventual comments or questions HERE.

You can also show us your very own created PocketPC Games And Applications! (Here)

Wonderful creations guys!

This proves of course you need more than a good software package to make beautiful drawings... You need talent and skills, and also the courage to show it in this topic...

Thank you so much for that! You help us to give this site that "little more" against others...

Keep drawing/painting/creating!

Tools: Pocket Artist v3, VSPainterv1.1something (old version I already had installed).
Had started this months ago during a commute. Was using VSPainter (good app..don't know how much its changed now) and sum other app I forget that generated base fractals for the iris. Gave up on the Pocket PC as a viable design medium..until I recently got Pocket Artist. Amazing app...esp love the fact that it supports opacity settings AND you can work in layers! Closest thing to Photoshop on pda's.

Dug up the piece and approx 2 to 3 hours of soft-brushing at low opacity, 3 layers, and A LOT of undo's (save & revert) later, this is the result. Still need to soften the edges of the iris tho. Gave up trying to create eyelashes..couldn't get them to taper properly to a point (you can see what I mean if you look closely at the eyebrows).

Oh, yeah...screen-cap: My Mobiler (not listed here). Screen capture + remote desktop control.

Character, nice to read you. Listen, there isn't a universal "tutorial" for the drawing tools on mobiles or other devices in general. If you seek specifically how to use and create with "Pocket artist", we believe you best ask that in its release topic (HERE) as that's the place where you will find the realtime users of that application.

Looking out for some nice creations of yours...

Here is something I whipped up a while ago when this thread was active. But it wasn't posted early enough to miss the loss we had last fall so I'm posting it again. I've been using it for my splash screen for months now. and I even have it on my Touch Pro now! Love this site!

EDIT: I provided a QVGA version and a VGA version!

These are my PPC-drawn pics so far.
I´ve created them completely with POCKET ARTIST 3. The best (layer-based) drawing-software for windows mobile.
Installed on an HTC Touch HD.

As you can see, it is able to work (layered) on a PPC.
But I want a tablet! ;-)

These were all made on my HTC Touch Pro using Pocket Artist 3.3... They were created using paintbrushes, included filters, and the animation feature. I LOVE this program!!! I actually purchased it... LOL I normally use Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop, but this program is very user-friendly if you're familiar with graphics programs in general. xoxo

Sorry for late reply, mmaureenn, but these drawings are really amazing indeed! Thank you also for some useful information about the drawing programs you use. Finally, we're glad you purchased the program you like most as that's the purpose of posting them on this site: we offer the largest choice to every user for trying out the software, up to the developers to make them as good as possible and convince the user that way to purchase it! ;)
