Actually, I just wanted to be more than a normal user at first. But now I know it's important for the site's fluent running. And since the staff is running the forum greatly, who would care what they do with the money - whatever it is, they deserve it. The VIP section is not very well used and it seems a little bit dispensable - however, there are nice requests with nicely high rewards and tons of releases.

Well, I donated money because I love this site. I used to go to PXDXA and while I still RSS it, I love this site even more.

Releases like Pleco, (YOU RULE ST@RIX & SUPERSTA + mad love to TSRH!), Declan's unipatcher (GOD I love fallen for that one), Skyscape (ATORV/tsrh) have absolutely changed my life.
I would NEVER have been able to afford these programs. They have made me the person I am today -- a more productive member of society.

In fact, I love Pleco (best Chinese dictionary EVER) so much that I will buy it once I get out of school and start working. That's how much I love it. The program is just so damn polished, near perfect, that I want to support Mike Love (author of Pleco) for future releases.

lifehacker/LZH and all the mods have been wonderful in running this site (except for that stupid April fools joke.. that really got to me :(

I don't care what Lifehacker does with any money he gets. He and the others deserve every penny -- just like the authors of the software that I truly use again and again (SKTools, Pleco, Scarybear FlashIt, etc).

Long live PPCWarez! (and TSRH/St@rix for cracking Pleco! :) )

Guys, please. That "money for fun" thing was part of the April fool's joke. Honestly, the money you donate is used only for server cost purpose. You may fantasize and make fun about what it could be used for as much as you want... it takes a lot of cash to keep the servers rolling and that's the only way your money is used.

I happen to be in a privileged position to know things about the finances. That's why I allowed myself to make fun of it. Trust me on this one: your money is taken care of for sake of everyone on this forum.

We can only afford lh getting drunk once a year and that will usually be the new year celebration. Other than that day, we need him sober,

If my words mean something, what Guy said about the financial matter is all true cuz we keep nothing secret between partners. Lh often refused my donation back when I was a VIP during my first time here as he always said he keeps the finance under control and I trust him.

As an ex-VIP, the reason I donated this site was kinda basic to me personally. I always believe, caring admins means nice site and I always tend to test the site admin first thing first. You send PM to them or at least to one of them as a regular member and see the result. If they respond quickly then it means they are nice no matter what the result is. And I tell you, they passed with flying colors! Lh, sdawson, Twingo did reply my PMs as a regular member and so there goes my donation (Sorry LZF, you're my brother so I didn't send you any PM then).

Indeed, this site has a lot to offer not to mention the well-organized categorization but then again, we can always find similar sites in the net. Only nice admins + moderators who can make the members stay. And here I am, stucked here with my partner since 2007 no matter how busy my daily life is,

I have recently bought a china made pna and have been searching through the web to look for gps softwares and updated maps. I find that this website provides really useful advice and downloads unlike others. I sincerely hope that my donation will go towards helping the maintenance of this site so that others like me can benefit from it.

I became a VIP because I like the colour blue. Bendy promised me green, but he's history... (sigh...)

PPCwarez is a great site, well organized, great staff (I love the service boys!), and dynamic members. Worth every donated penny.

Keep up the great work guys!

The reason I donated to the site is because they deserve it for bringing us this great community. The VIP status is just a bonus. Keep up the great work guys. Have been very busy lately n I do not login as often as before but this is one of the first site I go to when I am free. See ya.

I donated because there is no site on the web as organized as this one. No other sites have release templates, no double releases, such a great service team, etc. I admire the amount of work thats put in to upkeep the site.

And that is exactly the reason why I'm here! It's the perfect place to get all the programs I need, and to get help when I need it. Thanks for all the hard work en the perfect service!

Well, I donate to this fabulous site because I know how it's hard to make this aweful job !
I bought my first PPC in 2000, it was a Fujitsu Siemens Loox N420 with WM2003. I upgraded it with WM2003SE, and discovered how to customise it.
I had some HTC devices (or Qtek) and now I'm with an old Elfin, waiting to earn enough money to buy an HD ;)

When i first got a ppc, i was curious about what it could do, and after a little searching, here i am. the site offers such an amount of things, apps/games/help/laughs tis truly fantastic. after becoming a release tester i felt i could still offer more to the developers and team, so i gave my money hoping it will help keep the site alive :)

I bought my first PPC phone this year. After searching the net countless hours for anything to make me like windows mobile I came across PPCWarez. It was able to make my experience with a phone that was like a high matance girlfriend who never put out into one of love and bliss. After I found the eBook section it was all over with. I had to join and donate.

I was directed to this site by a ROM cooker over @ xda. I decided to take a look & see what types of programs I would find here. I found so many games & apps to try! I was like a kid in a candy store! I am not a hacker or cracker so I figured a financial donation was the way to go. This is a great site with a lot of helpful members & staff. I am very glad to be a part of this community.
