But it eats lot of Memory & makes slower , even it start slower......
Why so ? Due to low ram or is it the Program?

works perfect on my diamond... doubt its low ram, diamond = 192MB of it :P

Yes its 192 MB GSM Model
u have CDMA or Diamond Pro i think so as it has 256 MB Ram......
I tried Few Setup options as early said , but still it a bit slow, eats almost 10mb ram.
now i'm using Pocketmusic its nice & clear player, eats very low ram & works gr8.
But The feature in Pocket Player that added Are gr8 like plugins, surround effect works gr8.
Even Sound Clarity is Awesome than Basic Builtin Windows/Htc Player.
I'll Give 3.5/5 for Pocket Player( Took 0.5 for eating ram :( ).

great release. im having the same issue as the titan user - pocket player 4.0 when minimized would but a music note icon in the task bar so I could call the app when needed. with this version I have to use .fred task manager to kill it. subsequently, when its minimized and I click the icon from my programs it launches but the interface is not shown. I do love the radiotime streaming so will stick with it - thanks

not out of the box, but if you go on pocket player's website, then you can download the flac plugin for free of cost.

awesome, better podcast support in this version. Updating now on my Touch -- very nice! I've been using it for shoutcast for a long time now, but haven't yet found a good podcast source for my device. Maybe this will be it?

Really nice app; still the best of it's kind for music palyback in my opinion. I'm not very much demanding in video playback so I cannot comment on that:)
