There are several posts here about Iconsoft Phone Extension, all recent versions, have Trial Watermark on the background every few days.

Bellow is a fix from a russiam site, I tried it, and week passed, and no watermarks.

Use any Registry editor (I am using PHM Registry Editor if you don't have one).

Enter the following:



Some more detailed explanation, for people that don't know registry editors:
1. go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm \Tcpip\Hosts
2. create under Hosts new key, name it: www.iconsoft.com
3. select the new key you just created www.iconsoft.com
4. create in that key a New Binary Value, Name it ExpireTime, and as Value enter: 99 99 99 99 99 99 99
5. create another New Binary Value, Name it ipaddr, and as Value enter: 7F 00 00 01
6. create another key under Hosts: iconsoft.com
7. repeat steps 4 & 5 for the iconsoft.com key

No. Phonex 1.4 RC1 is the latest version. I attached the original (UNCRACKED, from iconsoft) here:

Now my question:
Will this work with RC1? (I had RC1, after 1 day i had the online registration and I couldn't get to the program) Wich I think has a better protection to this methods...

Did you get the watermark after you sinchronyze with your pc? Because in the russian forum it says that it work only if you don't connect to a computer that has internet connection active. And if it has you have to put in your hosts file (in /windows) this line/s:

doesn't work with last 1.4 beta version

Not working on 1.4....After few days (randomly, some times 2 days, some others 2 weeks) trial watermark appears

Tried all the trick but still cant get the water marks off ma Xperia.... Its drivin mi nuts..... Sumbody

The problem is that the software itself, on PhonEx.exe, creates a new key on tcpip\hosts mapping iconsoft to 216.97.235.45. So,even if you create those keys, after some time the software will correct the ip address and the watermark will return. Hex edit this file and the software map it to 127.0.0.1 and you are done.
