Where you get it? On protegeclub.com there is no infos about v5.2 there is only v5.0.
Could you upload this app somewhere else? I have problems with rapidshare.

TCPMP is already released and a codec upgrade is not official version update,
so the topic locks and will merge with the Original TCPMP

Help :-)

I've got Goclever 4335 GPS device with wince 5.0 OS on it. I try to use TCPMP progam but there is few things that's not working properly:
1. Open file - it gives me dir menu with mixed Chinese and English language of files
2. it's saying mp4 plugin and network plugin not compatible with this player version
3. if i put subtitle plugin in TCPMP folder new file interface.plg prevents me to start player.exe

is there some requirement to have before installing TCPMP (.net or whatever).

Thank you
Simche

Does not work on my Rhodium WM6.1 w/ .net 3.5
Program crashes and does not respond to any input, including power button.
I really want a video player that plays subtitles, either srt or smi, I have a converter.

I have the same problem on my Rhodium, it works for certain files, I have even managed to see movies with subtitle (both srt and smi format) but when I tried to play some simple mp3 files it became irresponsive and sometimes only a softreset was able to solve the freeze of the PDA. The same release works fine on a FS N560 also with WM6.1 with the same files. I suspect that has something to do with the video driver, (you need to select GDI to be able to see subtitles) because after a hard reset before any change to the video driver works fine with any supported file but if I have changed to GDI after that it's almost useless, regardless the fact that I change back the video mode as it was initially.
Any suggestion how this can be solved?

Here is a .cab file for WM6 and over.
I've chaged TCPMP's icon with Mobile DixX Player's icon. And cab file also includes registry fix to make TCPMP default player for .avi and .mp4 files.
http://rapidshare.com/files/337274896/DivX.CAB

I think that looks better than old fashioned TCPMP icon.

What is the difference between Coreplayer and TCPMP. I thought that TCPMP is a limited free version of Coreplayer. If this is true, why can't Coreplayer play subtitles as well?

coreplayer can display subtitles, but only in .smi. it's easier than converting your entire subtitles collection

How did you do that?
there is a .mkv movie file in my folder, and there is a subtitle .smi file in the same folder(I convert it from .srt)
But there is no subtitle on the movie screen.

and there is no subtitle menu in core player.
Many people wants to know, "how they can see the subtitles(in .smi format) in core player"
so please help us.
