It's actually built for Samsung's Omnia 2 but it should also work on HD2 since they're both WVGA.

Anybody has the Omnia 2 swype french version?

(I used the "original" swype wvga 2.0 english version found here and worked very well. Now is it possible to join the french files found in the latest cabs posted here and if yes how can we do this? Thanks for your reply.

P.S.: the latest versions (HTC etc...) posted here does not work for omnia 2 i8000)

Installed the Blackbird cab on Touch Pro 2, does not work, get error "the swype package you installed is configured for anothe device and will operate with limited functionality"

1. anyone know what must be done to get this to work on TouchPro 2? tried changing "LEO" in the text file Modelname to RHODIUM but still the same error

2. can someone advise which folder modelname must be installed in.

Change the "ModelName.txt" and put it (with Resco or something else) into the \Windows folder and reinstall the cab... if there are still problems then search the registry for 2 key-values

ModelName
Model

and change it from "HTC HD2 T8585" (or similar) to "T-Mobile_LEO"

by the way, i've installed an english version on my htc touch pro 2 but i was unable to make it run...

If fact, when i change the "input" setting to swype...soon after, the setting become again "tactil input"...

maybe the solution is to install the cab in the phone memory (not the memory card)...
