Hi

How can I do a full back of my ppc with out backing up KMS (kaspersky mobile security). I dont want to back up KMS, as I have forgotten my secret code and now it doesn't let me do anything, :-( not even un-install, keeps asking for secret code?

I have the legit trial version and it will expire soon. Hence can anyone please advice?

Also if I have allready and back up inc KMS, but I want to do a restore KMS, which files will I need to exclude whilst restoring?

Really will appreciate it, if someone can help me here.

Many Thanks

This appears not to work on my tilt 2 (touch pro2). The program opens with the usual dialog about what to name the backup file, but there is no OK button and no way to move forward with the backup process. Strange...

Same exact problem on my Tytn II

Thank you very much for this release !!

Could you please let me know if this tools enables to restore the entire phone state after a hard reset ? I mean, is it the equivalent to a PC tool like Norton Ghost (for example) ?

Thank you very much in advance.

Yes, it's precisely aimed for that...

When your PDA is crashed, first, hard-reset it to get a clean empty config.
Then, restore your backup, and you should recover your phone as it was before the crash.

Of course, you can also recover just some files/directories.

Be careful, when restoring your PIM informations (mail, calendar...etc), you'll probably be asked (by your PC) to re-synchronize ALL the previous synchronized data.
This is not due to SPB Backup, it's the way ActiveSync/Windows Mobile Device Center acts. When your restore, the status of synchronization goes "out of date" so that AS/WMDC wants to redo the whole sync.
