What happens now the system's changed?

Looks like all RS accounts are premium now, so there's no need buy a premium acc any more to have fast download... Just open an account on RS and you roll. (If we understand this new system correct. )

No... You need rapids to keep your account. There are different plans, that you can activate using rapids, and that have different features. The basic one costs 4 rapids per day. I have 260 rapids now that my account has been transferred from a one-month premium account I got here on mobilism to a new premium account, so I have more than 2 months now
You can buy rapids on the website.

mr_vandalay, we can't comply any more to RS account requests. So sorry. Let us explain why. Rapidshare changed their accounts system and doesn't allow any more to set up new accounts by converting download 'points'. Your service team collected points by providing mirrors and CAB files during all these years, making it possible to offer our users a RS premium account in exchange of WRZ$ earnings. We can't do this any more. In time eventually RS will reconsider their new system - they have no idea yet but they are loosing customers every day now - and maybe in the future we will be able to offer a comparable 'account for WRZ$' service to our users.

So sorry.

As a result of the recent adjustments to our product and pricing model we have received a lot of feedback from our users. There was also positive response but we want to be honest with you: most answers were negative. With our adjustments we have alienated many users. As a matter of course, that was not our intention. Instead, it is our goal to introduce a system that gives our users more flexibility. However, we are happy about every single user response that we have received as this is the only way we can learn what our users really want. That is the reason why we have fundamentally revised our offer one more time and made it much simpler.

Will there be another offer for $WRZ... another account from another hoster... Any new ideas?

Thank you, Tim, for your feedback. (Why do we sense your heart is still with us? You're not alone, don't be afraid ) Rapidshare may change their account policy as much as they want, recent modifications has proven they care only about their customers when they get complains. We don't like this attitude. That's why indeed we are looking eventually to offer the same service on another file server. We'll keep you updated.

Please post here what file servers we should concentrate on, while mentioning those you explicitly don't want, as eventually you can't access them from your place or country.

For the moment we post CAB files and mirrors on uploaded.to, as they give points and money for uploads, which will allow us to offer more premium accounts for WRZ$.

Nope. If you read how this service works - here - we can't offer any accounts unless we have points to generate them. RS is cutting in his own flesh - there's a name for that, google it if you want to know - and in time they will have to reconsider seriously. Until then we post on uploaded.to .
