Image Sherlockx's collection.

Here is a list of audio books that Sherlockx made available to be released on the site. Eventually some are of poor quality - recorded on tape from older radio broadcasting - some are beautifully sustained with background sounds & music, and a few are very rare and hard to find, but for sure they are all masterpieces and worth to take a look at (or should we say 'lay an ear on it...' in this case?). They all run on your mobile using the build-in audio players, so don't hesitate and prepare yourself to discover the wonderful world of the spoken book...

Thank you Sherlocks, for these little jewels, and thank you Zacharie to make them shine... ;)

On this site you'll find the applications for WinMo with touchscreen developed by bbonzz. Tap an application in the story below to go to the release post, or tap the banner above to go to bonzz' website, and while you're tapping: hit that pretty 'donation' button on the homepage if you want to donate him for his work. Largest part of the applications you find here are full featured freeware, and some are only a "light" version, that lack some of the functions of the full (or "pro") version. This way also people that cannot afford to pay for software can use the applications, be it in a reduced version, but still enjoyable and fun. By donating you keep bbonzz' site alive, his coffee cup filled, and you also get upgraded to the 'pro' version of the application(s) you want.

Thank you, bbonzz, for your generous programs. Enjoy the site, please reply to users requests/comments, and above all: keep developing programs, that make our mobiles those wonderful unbearable companions we cherish.

  • Image It was a cold and chilly evening. Around the house, rain was falling down on the RosettaStones, like needles fired in a PocketCurse by some weather gods... The room was decorated with MEaster Eggs, and slightly lit by some Mobi o' lantern Light, projecting scary shadows on the walls. Two men were sitting at the table. The big one was pouring a cup of Pocket Coffee Mobile, staring like hypnotized at the Pocketplasma device - or was it a Pocketlava lamp? - in the center of the table. The small one was concentrating on a clapper he held in his hand, eLiquidely calculating the probability of finding any PocketPizza left in the refrigerator. Earlier some kids had been playing Ring'n'Run in the neighborhood, and the big man - who happened to be just outside that moment, having a PocketSmoke break - had to use his FakeBadge to scare them off. One of the kids lost his clapping toy while Pocketrunning away, yelling "I'll return to get it back, CountOnMe!" The man had replied; "yeah yeah, you little vermin... enjoy that walk of fake illusion...", and turned his back to go inside. Annoying Pocketnoisy kids! he mumbled, and smashed the door, picked up trowel & rake, and headed to his PocketZen garden to restore some peace of mind....

The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
(BBC full-cast, all 7 parts)
Credits to Sherlockx

The Chronicles of Narnia, by C.S. Lewis, is one of the very few sets of books that should be read three times: in childhood, early adulthood, and late in life. In brief, four children travel repeatedly to a world in which they are far more than mere children and everything is far more than it seems. Richly told, populated with fascinating characters, perfectly realized in detail of world and pacing of plot, and profoundly allegorical, the story is infused throughout with the timeless issues of good and evil, faith and hope.

The recommended order of reading is by year of writing!

Image Grooveshark.

Grooveshark is an internationally available online music search engine, music streaming service and music recommendation web software application, allowing users to search for, stream, and upload music free of charge that can be played immediately or added to a playlist. Grooveshark aims to help bridge the growing gaps between artists, consumers and those in between who distribute, market, and promote music. Grooveshark streams 50 to 60 million songs per month, to more than 17,000,000 users. As of April 2009, its audience was growing at a rate of 2–3% per day.

These are the programs released on this site that make this happen on your WinMo device...

Image Mobile Benchmarks.

These are the programs to test/benchmark your device, posted on this forum. They don't run on all existing devices, but those that work may give you an idea of the performance compared to others. Please reply in the topics if a benchmark works on your device - don't forget to mention your device+OS in your personal UCp window - and eventually post the results.

There are also some applications that have a benchmark option included. (We use 'search' function links to see the latest release):

There also is a Video benchmark topic started by wam7 here:
