found these after searching for HOURS! got them from a russian site and in the software i can't see what version this is. the posts were from dec 13th '09 so they should be the same files as the 2.0 found here. in the options/about it says version 3644:3645. it's working on my touch cruise (qvga). haven't tried to type with it yet, but it all seems present and correct!!

qvga - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HRDHT9L5

wqvga - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PA7FPBGH

wvga - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Z7NMHYJ3

also, i read briefly along the way for someone else trying to install on a qvga device - qvga cab unsuccessful, but he found the wqvga worked a treat.

hope this helps peops

take it easy, enjoy

Thanks! After tons of reading I am going with version 2 b/c they say it's better than the latest. I will see :D

Here is a link to a CAB file:

I've installed on HTC Touch Diamond (WM6.1, 480x640) and it's worked brilliantly. Enjoy.

I've tried all the versions of swype out there that I can find, and this seems to be best.

It's most responsive, least buggy, and overall higher performance. If only I could have the layout of swype 3.9 with the performance of 2.0! I would be very happy then lol but 3.9 simply lags way too much and causes many problems :(

Regards

LN

There's no reason to use anything else, Swype is better than any other alternative out there. Besides, instead of asking what's the difference and stuff then waiting days/weeks for a response just take 15 seconds of your time and try it, not like it'll cost you anything... ^_^

I guess, it install's in the bulgarian "program files" folder (i don't konw the name for that in your language ) and when you start it, it expects the english "progam files" folder. Then just make a "program files" folder and copy the swype files from the bulgarian "program files" folder into it.Use sktools for that, he will change the registry too.

Sorry buddy, that's the only way what I know to let is run on my device.Anyway, make sure that you have the right language for you, before you just waste your time.I had only english and spanish and I think the dictionary form Swype v3.0 is not compatible.

good luck
