I use it with gingerbread just fine, with the same ROM you do (MDJ Cyanogen 2.5).

Make sure the following is true:
A) the "igo" directory is on the root of your SD Card
B) Your APK is not corrupt (redownload if needed)
C) You don't have an older version installed
D) If you use A2SD+, Cyanogen app location settings is set to 'Automatic' (rather than 'external' or 'internal')

I suggest you use a program browser/remover (Titanium Backup is my app of choice) to find and remove traces of any old or failed installations, and retry the entire process.
I had the same problem, and it turned out to be a bad transfer to the card, so try putting the igo folder on the card again - using a card reader rather than the phone's build in USB Storage mode (which can sometimes corrupt files, on rare occasions).
Let us know if any of that helped, and if not, what did - if at all.

Good to hear.
If anyone else has this problem, try either updating and/or reflashing your rom.

Do you have the POI and landmarks files?
The links on the official IGO site are down.

Aha, I didn't even notice they were missing.
I'll upload them soon and update the post.

edit: original post updated with Israeli POIs, Buildings and speedcams.
Have fun :-)

I don't know, but an educated guess would be no.
Then again - no better way to find out than to try.

Tks for your reply.

I tested it 2 days ago, using the latest european maps and it worked f-l-a-w-l-e-s-s-l-y on my Galaxy :D
Somehow it was even smoother than the iGo Motonav 480x800

Just one remark: This is no iGo Amigo, but iGo MyWay

iGo amigo is a bit different (splashscreen, some layouts and games) than the other iGo variants, like motonav, MyWay and many iGo 8.xx series

Same engine though

And this one is a keeper, gonna search for some themes and stuff
