Tether PS3 Wii XBox via PC ICS

Recent changes:
Fixes another rare "connection dropped" problem, strongly recommended if your phone data connection is very fast (more than 4 Mbps).
As for the notification icon, this ongoing notification (well, the underlying mechanics) is the only way to protect against a very aggressive built-in task killer (the common reason for connection drops) in the latest Android OS versions

hmmm....tried this but on my HTC Incredible the KG only served up a 3 digit unlock code. and yes, I entered the IMEI that ET flashed exactly...did it a few times, got the same 3 digit unlock code each time. any suggestions? I think I read on a post somewhere to enter a space, but I can't figure out where to do that...the EasyTether unlock box has no option to enter anything but characters, and putting a space in the KG didn't do anything...I got the same 3 digit unlock code.

:D thanks for this It worked like a charm once I figured it out. It's been a while since I used command prompt and MIUI has and issue with displaying black text on black backgrounds, but once I was able to see the IMEI it was a matter of plugging in the right command and getting the code. Since I change between a few different ROMS do you think i need to do it for each one or will the same code work for them all? theoretically it should be the same IMEI for all so the same code should work Ill see what happens and report back.

When I try to run the exe from the command prompt, every attempt returns this error:

"The system cannot execute the specified program."

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Download v0.9.3:
http://www.multiupload.com/LVHFACYK9Y

HOW TO INSTALL:

1.) Install the v0.9.3. After the installation is complete open the easy tether program and select "about". Write down the 5 digit "registration code".

2.) Uninstall the program. Now go to the android market and install the free easy tether lite. Run the program like normal and select the about section again.
It will ask you to submit your registration code to change it to the pro edition. Enter that 5 digit code that you wrote down.

You now have the latest version. The 5 digit "registration code" you wrote down is specific for your phone and should work on future versions.

A short hint for the keygen:

When I entered my IMEI, it showed just 4 digits instead of 5 as it should.

So I used a leading "0" (zero), then it worked for me -> 0xxxx.

Installing the driver into Mac OS X 10.6.7, ADB access to the phone became unable to connect until the driver (/System/Library/Extensions/EasyTetherUSBEthernet.kext) was removed.

Did you use adb from the sdk? I've removed the driver from the library and executed the follow command in the terminal : ./easytether.kg.exe but it doesn't works "cannot execute binary file".
(with my sdcard mounted on my pc)
Did I make something wrong?

thks

If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.
