Overview: XIN, is a comic book created by Kevin Lau, published by Anarchy Studio. Xin also known as Monkey, is a fictional comic book character. Based on the character Sun Wukong from the mediaeval Chinese novel Journey to the West, XIN takes many facets of the ancient tale and twists them with a modern sensibility.

Issue #1, Part 1 Nov. 1, 2002, Xin the greatest warrior in the Heavens Xin The Monkey King, Seeks a chair amongst the gods, tricking them they made him nothing more then another of their slaves, breaking his ties he turns on them destroying heavens protectors and his former allies the 8 saints he starts his campaign against the heavens.

Issue #2 Part 2 Dec. 1, 2002, Xin has defeated the 8 saints and now must face general II, but at what cost to the world and now he has caught the site of one of the gods, what will be his punishment as he now must face the five elements

Issue #3 Part 3 Jan. 1, 2003, Xin is set free from his prison to aid in returning the light of the world. As he is set free he attacks the Jade emperor and is soon placed under the control of the gods, with the very crown he seeks to steal, this is the end of this series which is soon picked up in Xin Journey of The Monkey King.
