Good question! And I don't think the traffic cameras are up to much either! Loads around my way but I never hear it bleep at me.

SGS2 works with Navigon Fresh if you connect to the PC using USB Mass Storage. To enable that go to Settings -> Applications -> Development and enable USB Debugging. Now your phone should be recognized as 2 USB Mass Storages (one for internal memory, one for external sd card).




traffic cameras are a hit and miss, sometimes they are right, sometimes there is none. but better to be warned and there is none then not to be warned.

traffic still works for me. the cracked version is said to have issues with traffic, but my navigon select still reports traffic messages.





btw can I just overwrite the maps with the new Q2/2011 map pack and be good, or will Navigon Select reject the Q2/2011 maps that are used by the paid app? anybody did that already? do I have to look after something or can I just overwrite the old ones?

This is taken from navigon's facebook page. it is a google translate from german from someone talking about the new update and what it does.

Mobile navigation is 3.62 for Android Market available on Google. Great, but no new cards are still the mute, or at least reducing the volume of music when a navigation announcement is has been implemented. Changes affect only Android 3.1
How many customers NAVIGON navigate with a tablet in the car? Would not it make more sense to most of the first Android customer satisfaction with new maps and features?

So it seems that it is not even worthwhile to upgrade if the updates only fix problems when running android 3.1

I've updated, everything still working fine. Not noticed any difference.

Running Full v3.6.2 here to on my SGS2 Android 2.3.3
All is fine and traffic works

You can update, but with this version a had my first FC on Navigon...

FC is caused maybe by some nfs files from Q2 2011 maps. Mapdrawer was the culprit for me

Hi guys i have installes Navigon MN 3.6.0 EU on my galaxy appollo and downloade the maps by wifi and it works fine.
I just was wondering if I can see if the maps are from Q2 2011 or older???

Where can I see what maps I am using now??

I have a problem, NAVIGON FRESH can't find my samsung galaxy tab, keep showing no device detected (CG2001)
What i must to do? I already have Navigon 2.6.1 on my samsung, but i want to upgrade it.

Seems that Navigon released 4.0 ..

They are saying that existing costumers can upgrade free of charge on marked but i am not offered any update and only the US app is marked as version 4.0.0 on marked.

Anyone else seen the select version updated to 4.0.0 ?
