Once more we send a big welcome to Sherlockx, our master of riddles. Beside some interesting topics in freetalk section and his kind of wayward replies in several projects, Sherlocx is also our source of rare audio books and a masterly moderator in his very own riddle topics .

Beside entertaining existing members of this site, and those visiting to find mobile stuff, we'd also like to attract non-mobile users who are interested in solving riddles. This will be Sherlocx's job: create and moderate new riddles that will hurt our brains and haunt us at night...

This services team will assist you in rewarding. We'll create a reward system with WRZ$ and premium accounts, giving those who participate in solving a riddle equal chances as the one who finally solves the riddle. More about this later.

Riddles reward system.

Points: We made a new rewarding system for riddle solvers with points:

• Participation points : a user gets 3 points for every riddle he/she participates solving. Only one post or reply needed to be a 'participant'.
• Riddle Points : For every valuable* reply in a riddle contest, a user gets 1 supplementary point.
• Solver Points : The user who solves the puzzle gets 5 points.
• Guest points: 'Guest riddle' posters get as much points as the number of questions it takes to solve their riddle.
  
  (*) 'Valuable' means a concrete question about the riddle in an attempt to solve it. (Asking about Sherlockx's shoe-size doesn't count) (Well... depends on the riddle...) (Haha!)

Ranking: We plan to launch ten riddles. The ranking will be updated after each riddle. The final ranking will reward:

• The winner - the one who has the most points - with a premium account.
• A second premium account will be given at random to one of the three next ranked.
• Top ten users in the ranking get all 250 WRZ$

Multiple questions:

Riddles that need more than one answer will get 5 solver points for each correct answer.

Bonus riddle:

To allow users that haven't participated yet in a previous riddle to catch up with those who did, we'll announce once in a while a riddle to be a 'bonus riddle'. This means points won in this riddle will count double.

Guest riddle:

If you know a riddle - and the solution, of course - and you wonder how long it would take to our riddle solvers here to also find the solution, this is what you do:

1. Send your riddle and solution by PM to Sherlockx
   
2. Wait for his reply and further instructions
3. Your riddle will then be posted here as a 'guest riddle'
4. You will earn 'guest' points (see above)

Participate: at least one valuable reply produces 3 points
Ask questions: every valuable question produces 1 point
Solve the riddle: you will get 5 points
Post a 'guest riddle': you will get as many points as it takes questions to solve it.

You'll get double number of points with bonus riddles.

Friends romans countrymen, boys girls and small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri send me your guest riddles but before you do one or two suggestions.

1) Do an internet search on the wording of your riddle to make sure that a simple search will not come up with the answer. So if your riddle is: How far will a blind dog walk into a forest? It is not going to last very long.
2) This is a worldwide community so try to avoid references that are common only in your culture. If you are American you will know what Oscar Mayer is but someone in India may not.I will know that on the island of Vatoa wearing a hat is an insult to the chief but Zacharie may not.
3) In the same way try to make sure that any units used in your riddle are universal e.g a gallon may be 3.785 or 4.546 litres depending on where you live.
4) Finally You and I may enjoy quantum ergodicity as a means of relaxation but not everyone so try to avoid anything to specialised.
