'Kindergarten'? Argh! You couldn't have closed your cave with a wooden door, couldn't you? Or a plastic one? Or - before you suggest it - put a football goal instead of the door... I couldn't find it anyway... See? I thought of it before you! (Shut up, Professor!)

Seriously, did you need three days to have the result of something you did or make during the first hours? Or did you have to work on something during three days to finally achieve it? It took well over 2 days work to achieve the result, whilst waiting he was doing the tango "Slow, slow, quick-quick slow,"

PS: I won't accept 'sitting on a stone and thinking about the meaning of life' as working in my question.

Did you beat the drum 100 times with your bear hands? What a Grizzly question, does it help to Polarise your thought? , he used either his bare hands or his feet , all broomsticks having been removed

Is a self-made tool used to escape? No (A device or implement, esp. one held in the hand, used to carry out a particular function.)
Did you discover something in the cave that brought you the solution to escape? No, only genius

There is a lack of applied logic in these questions. So perhaps I can hint as to the correct approach unless sherlockx censors this post.

If you are looking for the alchemical 5th, 6th 7th. elements etc then as Obi-Wan Kenobi would say look to the dark side of the force. Sherlockx has given you the Yang consider the Yin.

I know, I know... Sherlockx is going to say we haven't been doing anything else since the beginning of this riddle, but maybe we should ask some stupid or ridiculous questions for a change. Who knows we might stumble on an idea or hint?

None whatsoever,but it really is quite a simple riddle. May I suggest that having eliminated what is not involved in the answer then whatever possibilities remain no matter how improbable are likely to lead you to the solution. The Prof gave a hint but I expect it was too subtle for you.

Sigh, I was having such fun watching people struggle. Oh well I am in a better mood now I have a new fly swatter.
