If the door is made out of pure solid gold, and since pure gold is very soft, a little tougher than play dough, Couldn't use just smash your way through the door?
Wow XVI what kind of play dough do they sell where you live? ferro-concrete? Trust me you could hammer at a block of gold all day with ice and all you would get is tennis elbow.

Whoa hold on. Pure gold (24k) is the most malleable and ductile of all metals, a single gram can be beaten into a sheet of 1 square meter. So what kind of gold do they sell we you live? Fools Gold? hahaha
I know how malleable it is XVI but the last time I heard goldsmiths did not include blocks of ice in their toolkit
Btw I am not going to send you a 10 kilo block of gold for you to experiment with
But the freezing point of gold is the same as its melting point of 1064.58°C
