“I was writing a complex equation, and didn’t hear exactly what the professor said… but CaptureNotes 2 did! I was able to review her comments after the lecture by selecting the Listen Flag to get back to that exact point of the lecture.”

“Scott, what was the name of that consulting firm the client mentioned?” I quickly opened CaptureNotes 2 and went to my meeting notes. I selected the Contact Flag, and heard my client say Scorpio... “The name is Scorpio”, I said. “Great job Scott, let’s get them on the phone…”

A few of the fantastic features in CaptureNotes 2 include:

• Import PDFs directly into you notebook
• Customizable Flags… to fit your needs
• Safe, simple backups to Dropbox & iTunes
• Share single pages or entire notebooks as PDFs
• Elegant Binder & Notebook Library
• Thumbnail Page views to quickly navigate

Hailed by users as one of the most creative features of any note taking app for the iPad are the graphic markers called Flags, which can be inserted anywhere in the user's notes during or after the meeting or lecture. With CaptureNotes 2, Custom Flags have been included with the default Business & Education sets. Users can create their own custom Flags to suit their specific needs and habits by assigning a name and one of over 100 icons to uniquely colored Flags. The Custom Flags help to clarify notes, and aid in organizing information, data, questions, comments, etc.

Your Flags are time-synced to just the right point of the lecture. No searching through hours of audio for 5 minutes of the most important information… just select the Flag and you're there! All Flags become available through the Filter Flags button once placed in a Notebook. When you’re in a hurry to find a section in your Notebook, the Flags and Filter Flags get you there quickly, easily and efficiently.

The Library is where you manage your Notebooks and Binders. Think of Notebooks as individual sessions and Binders as collections of Notebooks. You can build out your week’s classes in advance and open each Notebook to start as soon as you walk into class. If your professor distributes class notes in PDF format, you can import them into the notebook ahead of time, record the lecture dropping Flags directly on the class notes and add your own typed and written notes on top!
