Install the PowerAMP Player and do not open it.

Install the patch and open it and apply. (YOU MUST BE ROOTED!)

Open PowerAMP and enjoy!

It worked for me on my Samsung Galaxy 5 running Android 2.2.1. I needed to root it first, of course and reboot it before the patch was successfully applied.

So how do get it to work on non rooted devices?

Can anyone recommend a site for rooting Galaxy S2? With detailed instructions etc.

I don't want to change ROM, just get root access.

xda developers, google it, find the forum for the S2.

rooting shouldn't be too difficult but just remember it will wipe your phone so you need to make backups first.

like previous poster has said the download from post #2 works.

and i never needed the unlocker, only needed the patcher and original locked app.

this is original instruction from ChelpuS:

1. Сначала удаляем старую версию программы и все анлокеры, триалы и т.п.
2. Устанавливаем по очереди:
2.1.PowerAMP.2.0.4.467.apk
2.2.PowerAMPunlocker.apk
2.3.PowerAmpPatcher.by.ChelpuS.apk (для работы патчера требуется рут!)
3. Плеер НЕ ЗАПУСКАЕМ!!!
4. Открываем патчер, применяем по назначению.
5. ПЕРЕЗАГРУЖАЕМ ТЕЛЕФОН!!!
6. Радуемся полной версии

Use only app+patcher it seems works great,but if you change time ahead for a month,it wont work!!
So you must install three apps!
