"No Root Screenshot It" is an application that lets you take screenshots of your phone. This application works on ALL phones except Honeycomb. Root is NOT required.
This application is for those users who need to take screenshots, but don't have root access to their phones.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING:
This application will instruct you to download and install a free desktop application on your Windows or Mac. Once installed, you must run the desktop application with your phone attached to your computer. This will enable screenshots on your phone.
Once you've done this, you can disconnect your phone and take screenshots whenever you want. However, every time you restart your phone, you'll have to connect it to your computer and run the desktop application again. If you restart your phone frequently, this app may not be for you, as it may prove to be too inconvenient.
Your phone will NOT be rooted or temp-rooted in any way. No system files on your phone will be altered.
If your phone is already rooted, please download the normal "Screenshot It" application from the Android market.

i downloaded it, i can take a screenshot but then where does the pic go? nothing comes up asking me to save it

On my phone the path is /mnt/sdcard/data/com.edwardkim.android.screenshotitfull/

I have the problem where I sometimes try to take a screenshot and nothing happens but a quick retry will result in the screenshot showing up. Do you get the camera shutter sound(if you didn't turn that option off) when you take a screenshot? That's how I know when it isn't going to work for me on that specific try. I would sit there waiting for the save screen to popup and it never would. When I retry and got the shutter sound I get the popup within a few seconds. Also, have you tried restarting the phone and then reactivating the screenshot service through your PC? I would try that as a starting point. I hope this helps a bit.

I have 2 folders on my phone, the one in my first post and the one directly above. I posted the wrong one the first time because I was browsing in ES FE. Sorry about that. Also, do you get the popup where you can save/crop/etc. the screenshot or are you just getting the sound and nothing else afterwards?

When you open up the app what does it say is the save path? Here is a screen from my phone:



You can change the path if you want which may be another way to troubleshoot if the images aren't going to the path as shown. I left mine as default from when it was installed.
