It is getting harder and harder with each new IOS.

1) which ipad do u own (1,2)
2)did u save your shsh ( if u Jailbroke it b4 then its probably saved on cydia )
if u dnt know how i'll tell u
3)if u DID save ur shsh from any previous version (even iOS 4) then u can revert to it easily using "tinyumbrella" or a custom firmware

p.s: if u own an iPad 2 u can only revert to iOS 4 not iOS 5 even if u saved its shsh.

If you have your 5.0.1 shsh blobs and APTicket you can downgrade to 5.0.1

newer Redsn0w versions allow for a restore on ipad 2 and i4s check their website: blog.iphone-dev.org
