Guys do you know about any good fiction whose central theme is hacking.i just know a few books, ofcourse all Kevin Mitnick books and the maskado lesson and i 2 books but i want a book whose central character is a hacker and his adventures.can anyone recommend anything?

Neuromancer by William Gibson is a good sci-fi one.

The girl with the dragon tattoo (and the other two books in that series- she is a hacker and it comes into the story line quite a lot as well as her online hacker community a bit)

Also should add "I did not come to you by chance" which not quite about a hacker but a nigerian novel about those scheming emails asking for money - its about the people who write them and the life they lead

this one is not fiction per se, but maybe you will enjoy it nonetheless...

Digital Fortress - Dan Brown

This one was a pretty good yarn. Full of the twists and half clues Dan Brown loves to drop around.

p.s. "Ready Player One" was actually pretty good.

have read digital fortress and dan brown is awesome though he lost his touch in lost symbol.

Steig Larsson's Girl with the Dragon tattoo and the trilogy has the main protagonist , a hacker. Its very very good.
