PS: Some people from Germany confirme that TMC/http it`s working.
Version 2.3 History:
* Completely reworked the algorithm to add / delete waypoints on the map;
* Redesigned the buttons in the search on the map;
* Added option to view / delete points (in the menu "My trip");
* Added function to save / load / delete a route;
* Search button in the coordinates are now in menu "Destination";
* Changed discrete zoom maps;
* Size data.gro still reduced to 500 KB;
* Heap visible / invisible bug fixes;

Version 2.3.1 History:
* Ability to move the intermediate points;
* Fixed bug off route when leaving the viewer TMC;
* Settings menu add the button "Backup Data and Restore Data" (thanks mariupol1963!). Backup works fine, but the Restore - not working. Please run a test, who is active S-OFF. Attention! Function "Backup Data" creates on the SD card folder "backup". If you have such a folder, it will be overwritten!
* A little small corrections;
* Added menu item settings TMC (please test in those countries where this lotion works);


Version 2.4 history:
- you can edit/add/delete speedcam, from "search on map" menu;you must have speedcam.txt like Primo type;
- new icons for speedcam, imported from Primo;
- smallest apk ;

Known bugs:
* Does not return the stored data;
* Removes the stored routes if you run igo;LE: fixed by qcqooqlick

Download the application you want from above.
Download "Santa Claus" and extract to your pc.
Copy the app and the iGO folder to your sd card.Put the maps,poi,lang,voice,dem,speedcam in iGO/content, from http://www.igo-maps.info or other sources
Install the apk, with some file editor, like ES File Explorer from Market
enjoy.

PS: @mods.. i think this apk is normal to stay at "software"..not skins.Just because we don`t have almost anything for our devices.

Ok guys installed this on my device BUT this is driving me absolutely crazy.
Speedcams. Where, what and when question.

I come from a WinMO device where it all just seems to work (lol, nice slogan)

Which file needs to go where and with which extension. I've been googling around and someone says this, the other says that .. it is just mind blowing and not clear at all.
Right now I have iGO\content\speedcam\ and two files speedcamupdates.spud and speedcamtext.txt and both are NOT 0KB so they must contain data.
Now I check on the map and I do not see any camera around. I am quiet sure that I drive around and have my photo taken within 5 minutes time but I don't really want that.

Can someone maybe help me (or us) with this and maybe guide us so we have the best GPS for Android.

Crap, I have to qoute myself.
It seems that you have to have a GPS lock before you can switch the cameras on ... like in WinMO (me slaps myself)

Where or how to you store the saved routes? I was hoping it'd be in a "routes" folder as kml or gpx, like the WinMo version....

The only thing I've thought is lacking from the Android version of iGo is a) loading externally created routes in kml/gpx/etc, and b) having a trace of your driven route (track) written out as NMEA or gpx log files.... (hint!!

If you have a current route, go to "My Trip" and there, on the map, "Save route" and put some name.
You will find that route in Destination/Load Routes.

About route.klm and tracks..maybe in the next releases.

Is there any version of motogis skin that can be used with other resolutions? For HVGA (480x320) for example?
Anyone can point me where I can find another skin for HVGA or a complete english version of Sbertaud HVGA skin?

No more update after 2,4?

Pressing 'select city' closes the program. Did anybody solve this?

could it be that this version is working better then the original ?
or i might be wrong
how can i add alerts on speedcams i never managed to do so
