Overview: M. David White lives just outside of Chicago. He has been writing stories ever since he was a little boy when his mom would help him write the words down. He is an avid writer of fantasy and fiction and has published a number of projects over the years. He lives with his wonderful wife, three kids, and an indoor zoo which consists of four cats, a dog, a rabbit and a fox. When he’s not writing, he’s thinking about writing. A young boy named Rook is thrust into a chilling world of corruption and depravity after his parents die, leaving him alone with his baby sister. In a kingdom of famine where people starve to death while nobility live in luxury and abundance, the one thing Rook has to hold on to are the stories and legends of the heroic Saints Caliber, warrior-saints of the Goddess, Aeoria. Girded in armor made of the very stars, the Saints Caliber are supposed to be the ones who protect the people of the world. However, terrible truths start to emerge and the heroes Rook once looked up to turn out to be the villains of nightmares.
For young Rook, hope comes in the form of a demon named Bulifer. Too young to defend himself against the enemies that surround him, and too young to take care of his baby sister, Rook has little choice but to sell his future to the beast. Rook is determined to keep his humanity, but will the demon force him to commit sins from which his soul can never escape?
There is one Saint who has a chance to turn the order of the world upside down. Haunted by the memories of the terrible acts she is forced to perpetrate, Saint Nuriel tries to numb herself to the world around her. Will she expose the evils that saturate the Order of the Saints Caliber, or will her slow fall into corruption twist her into the same cruel servant of abominable kings as all her peers?
For Nuriel, hope might lay within a strange woman named Celacia who wears armor made from the very scales of the ancient Dragon God of Death. Wherever Celacia walks, only death follows in her wake. Earth withers beneath her feet, stone crumbles in her presence, flesh rots to dust. But from this woman whose very touch is death might Nuriel find a new beginning?

2. Here Shines the Sun
There is but one star left in the night sky, and when it falls, the legends portend a final age of destruction if the Sleeping Goddess is not awakened. Time is short, and dreadful things stir in the darkness. They can taste their victory; feel it within their clutches.
But all is not lost.
Within the Order of the Saints Caliber there is growing dissent. Karinael is part of a small constellation of Saints secretly working to supplant Sanctuary and the demonic Kings who rule the world. Led by Erygion the Standard Bearer, they seek to awaken the Goddess and stem the age of destruction. But Karinael was once apprenticed by Saint Nuriel, a Saint whose very name brings terror to all within the Order. As Nuriel spirals ever further into madness, she learns that her old apprentice has broken the one trust she left her with. Will Nuriel now hunt down and kill the only Saints who have a chance of awakening the Goddess, or will Karinael be able to pull her friend out of the darkness that consumes her?
Rook is not the young boy he used to be. A skilled blacksmith under the guidance of his adoptive father, Rook has unlocked the secrets of a mysterious metal that all the nobles covet. To that end, he has secured a good life for those he cares about. But when the King and his daughters come to town, Rook finds himself sucked back into the terrors he thought he left behind as a boy. As he leads a rebellion against the monstrous King and his demonic daughters, some unexpected help arrives in the form of Karinael and her team. But do all the Saints have good intentions? And will Rook be able to shed his old hatreds and embrace them, or will the sway of revenge get the better of him? And there is still the matter of an old shadow that haunts him. The demon, Bulifer’s, payment comes due. In Duroton, the ice-demons of the far north march upon the Grimwatch. Leading an elite team of soldiers, Brandrir infiltrates the Shardgrims to see what the Kald are up to, but he quickly discovers more than he bargained for. He finds that an ancient evil awakens, and learns that the Kald might not be his enemy. They are led by a being who has shadowed him all his life, and this being reveals the terrible truth about why the Lands denied him the crown. Brandrir is a pawn in something bigger than he could have ever imagined, but is he on the right side of the board? Will he be able to break the chains that bind him to the final age of destruction, or might he actually want to raise his sword in the name of War and cleanse all the world in fire?
