Use the temp root method described over at XDA. Once you gain temp root install root explorer delete the spiderman 3d from /system/apps then install this version. Works great

Okay, I did the same thing but uninstalled the stock spiderman first using Titanium Backup then deleted the file. However the installation fails when I try to install the cracked version. Before installation, it's prompting me to replace the system application. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, I have a temp rooted Evo 3D

Restart your 3D evo and reroot then replace the spider-man app from /system/app with the one you downloaded. Restart your device, reroot it and reinstall the app FROM /system/app folder that you previously replaced. You should be able to install it with no problems.

Let me know if this helps!

Okay I got it working, thanks frampilio! This is what I did:

on a rooted EVO 3D: I deleted the SD files.

I uninstalled the original file using Titanium Backup then deleted the the original spiderman app in the system/app folder.

Then, I renamed the cracked apk to match the original spiderman and placed it under the system/app file and installed it from there... no reboot required!
