Witch Ad-blocker are you using, I was using "Block This!" & it worked great but no longer works on this update.

I have two media players. One newer, with marshmallow and one older. I use Adaway for rooted device. On the newer device works just fine, it blocks the ads. But on older device, the same version of Mobdro and Adaway it doesn't. I don't have banners but from time to time i have a video add for some seconds. I just checked today. Strange...

this app is buggy, I've never seen it actually work for long enough to watch SportsCenter or a ball game on ESPN. And the History Channel never seems to be on, and when it is it's actually some other Olympics channel? I wish it worked as well as Terraium!

Sure

1) Open Adaway, go to options, select the "Log DNS Requests", and start TCPDUMP. Make sure it's running before you proceed
2) Start Mobdro, browse around for a while, start a couple of streams, even go through the different options/categories, all this to make sure you "catch" all the ads
3) Go back to Adaway, back to "Log DNS Requests" and select "Open log file". There should be a bunch of entries, most, if not all those will be from ad providers. Long tap on them to add them to the blacklist. Then stop TCPDUMP, go back to Adaway main screen, and disable/restart it to apply the blacklist.

That's it, you should have no more ads in the app!For the record, entries I have blocked on my adaway (most, if not all of them from mobdro) are the following:
