Sandstorm - Marcus's group in Iran has been through hell and back, and has made the decision to finally head home even as untold dangers stalk Marilyn, her children and the Marines accompanying her to Washington. And, in the deep woods and mountains of Colorado, a group with a seemingly sinister purpose grows like a shadow across the battered and broken country.
4. Shattered Stone - After a narrow escape, Marilyn's group sets up shop in an abandoned motel, seemingly safe as they pause on their journey to Washington. Marcus and the Marines in Iran pack up and head west, trying to escape into Turkey to continue on their long trek home to the USA. In Berkeley, Darla's group hunkers down in the computer lab, trying desperately to gather data on the Kessler Syndrome event, while D.C. hovers on the precipice of total annihilation...
