Hi, does this latest version work with Google home? I'm still using trusty v8.4.43.632 with never any issues but Google home doesn't allow you to play "song name", it says subscription required. Thanks

Working great, thanks! Wish I could solve the minor issue of when you play a popular Playlist or all songs from a specific Artist and it gives the ad prompt below. It can only be triggered inside the app, not in the background so it's fine and it doesn't actually play any ad. It's just kind of a jump-scare hearing the voice when you have the volume loud. I thought maybe it could be a DNS thing since I use Cloudflare but I changed to Google and the ISP default DNS but didn't get rid of it. I'm sure it doesn't bother too many people and some of my friends don't get that prompt. It happens even on a clean flash of my ROM and from Oreo to Pie so I dunno if it's server side or what.

This app has got nothing to do with Google Home. Google Home uses it's own Spotify files - this app just connects to the Home either via Spotify connect or via casting from your device.

TBH - it's better casting as you won't get ads, if you don't cast you end up using the unpatched files which are on the google home firmware.

My advice for Google home is to use Deezloader to download any music you want, then upload the music you downloaded to Google Play Music. Then when you ask for a song the Google Home will search your Google Play Music library and you can get whatever songs you uploaded + no ads.
