I'm not sure - I'm new to modding this apk and haven't messed about with it very much (only since yesterday or the day before). I'm looking into seeing how the OP modded it and then trying to improve the patches (such as ad blocking). It will take me a while to get around the apk and how to find code in new apk's that are released so you will need to try and figure your question out yourself for the time being.

The audio has 4 switches - low/standard/high/lossless - but only two are shown on non premium accounts - you can swap the switches around though so that code from lossless gets used instead of standard etc. So are the HQ icon shows up and the downloaded file has a higher bitrate than normal - I would assume the data when streamed to your device would be the same - but I'd need to look at the code properly. Also I never looked at the android tv version - it could possibly work the same - so maybe I'll check that once I finish messing about with the mobile version. I have a lot on just now with working/working in my house etc so I just mess about with the apks when I want to chill out a bit from that - probably in the same way some people do crossword puzzles etc.
