offline means that its not a online installer based (as you will get from official website), its a complete offline installer with root.

i install and after open it says BLUESTACKS initialyzing and wait wait and doesn't open.

its working absolutely fine on my lappy (Windows 8.1 with ATI HD Graphics). Just tested it. thnx again

No working for me. Windows 8.1. Hangs when starting the first time after installing. Says "initilizing...." for decades...

Just one problem for me, I can not sync a folder between BlueStacks & Windows... old version 0.8.9.3088 rooted worked fine
Tried on W7 64

I solved, created one shortcut to Desktop of: C: \ ProgramData\BlueStacks\UserData\SharedFolder

You had installed one old version? If so, besides to uninstall it, delete any folder of previous Bluestacks (Program, ProgramData etc). Then clean install to new version. I got same problem

I have nothing on my system from before. Very clean install.. my suspicion is that it has something to do with my internet connection being slow and that 1/2 of all sites outside this freaking country of paranoid asses are blocked.. I am in China..
